Being Photographed
Are you one of those who loves to have your picture taken? I have struggled for years being in front of the camera. Pictures of me rarely turn out 'right' as far as I'm concerned. There is one big reason why: A camera captures exactly what is in its view finder. Pictures capture the truth. The problem is, I have not presented the camera with my 'best' truth.
So, I'm educating myself. First, I am learning to dress in a manner that best suits me...my body type and my colors. With the confidence of knowing that I'm at my best, I am then able to do one of the most important things for giving the camera truth. I am smiling.....a REAL smile....one that shows teeth.....not the posed pursed lips smile.
For the most part, I am getting a little more comfortable being in front of the camera. Now, mind you.....I do NOT jump in front of the camera when one shows up, however, I do not run to the bathroom to avoid the photo session.
Know what looks best on you AND SHOW YOUR TEETH when you smile. Give the camera your best truth!
